WordPress plugins

WordPress is a very powerful and customizable software, but it doesn’t have all the features I need. But fortunately there are people all around the world that build plugins for WordPress. Plugins are nice and easy to add but the most annoying part is to download them by ftp or sftp ( in my case ) on my server , unpack them and activate them. I don’t really like this part but yesterday when I was browsing for plugins on the internet I found a really nice one : PlugInstaller

Plug installer is not just any ordinary plugin , is a plugin that helps you install other plugins by eliminating the annoying steps of downloading locally the plugin , upload it on the ftp and extract it.

After you install PlugInstaller you Plugins menu from the Site Admin will change, two new text boxes will apear, one to enter the URL path to your plugin and one to browse for the plugin if you have it on you PC.

Now all you have to do if you want to install plugins is to fine them install them directly from the Site Admin and activate them.

Happy plugin installing :-)
